Hi Sarah, Amanda, Karen and Jules,

Hope you are all well.

I should start by apologising for not sending this sooner but as Sarah and Amanda will both know, we're severly down on numbers in CA finance so I've been busy in meetings over the last few days planning contingencies. Hope things are less hectic up your way!

I just thought it would be remiss of me, and Cricket Australia, not to thank you all for your tireless work throughout the Darwin cricket series - both at TIO and at Gardens. My life was made so much easier up there just knowing you all were in control of everything, from the catering, to the hospitality and the bars. Only a handful of times each day did I need to chase up something or request something to be done, and on each and every occassion, these requests were acted upon immediately.

The quality and quantity of food provided at meal times was fantastic and this was reflected by the positive feedback I received from a number of people (especially CA staff who are not used to the sort of treatment they got in Darwin). To be honest, I was quite blown away by your generous hospitality and your willingness to assist and support our staff in every instance.

Despite the fact crowd attendances were well down on forecast, concession sales (Sarah to confirm of course) far exceeded our expectations which only goes to show that everyone at KSC did a fantastic job in organising and managing this. You should be proud of this outcome!

Once again, thanks to you and your team for your contribution towards a highly successful cricket series in Darwin (albeit a bit one sided). I had a wonderful time in your beautiful city and can't wait to get up there again to explore somewhere a little further out than TIO Stadium. I wish you every success in the future and hope we can cross paths again soon.
