Dear Amanda,
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to you and your team for being part of the Leukaemia Foundation's Light the Night event held on Wednesday September 2nd at Liberty Square, Parliament House.
We're blown away by the success of the everning, and we've been receiving terrific feedback from the many people who attended. It truly was a wonderful and inspiring event and this could not have been achieved without your guidance and support, leading up to and on the night.
Over 500 people showed up, with close to $50,000 being raised, so a real difference has been made to the lives of NT patients and families living with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders.
The funds raised are already being used to provide patients with personalised practical care during their treatment, such as accommodation, transport and financial assistance and we will also invest part of the fundraising into research.
On behalf of all our Territorian patients and families who will be helped as a direct result of the money raised for the Leukaemia Foundation, thank you for getting involved in Light the Night, and we hope we can cll on you again next year.
