Karen Sheldon Catering is honoured to have been chosen to provide the catering for the Centre for National Resillience (Howard Springs Quarntine Facility). We are currently preparing, cooking and delivering up to 28,000 FOOD ITEMS, plus up to 700 staff meals PER DAY!
We know we are very lucky in Australia, and in the Northern Territory particularly, to currently be in such a great position with COVID, and we are all playing our part to keep Australia safe, never taking anything for granted.
So, as with all our catering, every meal we deliver to you is made with an extra dollop of love and care using our own house-made recipes with local ingredients. We acknowledge the diverse cultures that we cater to, so we’ve made our meals halal and a menu that is free of beef and pork.
Our way of ‘paying it forward’ is giving back where we can. Donating our excess meals back into community and sharing our hard-won skills and knowledge with as many First Australians as possible. The Karen Sheldon Group partners with Saltbush Social Enterprises to provide holistic person-centred training and on-the-job mentoring.
We believe that ‘a person with a job is a person with a future’ so we are working one person, one family, one community at a time to reach a tipping point where First Australians can take their true place as leaders in all aspects of Australian society and the economy, particularly those most disadvantaged and suffering intergenerational trauma and poverty.
