The Incubator Kitchen is platform that provides real world job training for participants from our Future Stars Indigenous Employment Program. We use the Incubator Kitchens to develop hands-on work ready skills, such as good hygiene, food handling and teamwork.

Since early 2015, Karen Sheldon Catering has been producing pre-packaged meals to wholesale suppliers. As another Incubator Project, the Production Kitchen gives Indigenous participants a chance to develop work ready skills while making products that will be sent to communities for resale.
All our products are extremely nutritious, high in protein and contain safe, sustainable, fresh, local ingredients, including the amazing superfood Kakadu Plum and other Australian native bush foods.
The Karen’s Kitchen Project not only provides on-the-job training for those in the Kitchen, but also provides Indigenous employment opportunities during many different stages from ‘paddock’ to ‘plate’.
